Rolling Around

We are so proud of Gus. Last night he decided he wanted a better view of the TV so he lifted up both legs and flipped right over. He's still working on that arm, though.

Finding a deal

Ross was explaining how Rainbow Foods occasionally runs a "meal deal" which is cheap and delicious. Gus has only been to Super Target so a new grocery store was interesting to him...or he just liked all the colorful photos on the inside of this ad.

Coffee-Filter-Head Boy

I was trying to separate just one filter from the stack and apparently the rustling of the coffee filters cracked Gus up. So I put it on his head.

Chores

Although Gus is generally impressed with riding along in his Baby Bjorn, he was not impressed with the fact that we were doing housework at the same time.



But he didn't complain once and took a little cat nap when we were done.



As I was vacuuming, I thought I should ask Val & Randy if Bjorn ever had a Baby Bjorn? Now THAT would have been cool.

Yoga

Gus loves going to BYOB Yoga (bring your own baby). We go once a week and the highlight for him is definitely the baby massage.



He's met many new friends including his first girlfriend, Milla.



It is a bit early for him to be holding hands with a girl. I think it's time Ross gives him the talk.

Reading is fun when there are alot of cool pictures

He is obsessed with this book. I've even gone as far as hanging it from the ceiling fan so he can see it at all times.

Basketball threads from Unkie J and Aunt Christy

This is one of many hilarious onesies Gus has received from his Aunt and Uncle Josh & Christy. He also received a rather funny onesie from his uncle Kyle (but it doesn't fit quite yet). Hmmm, seems to be a pattern with the funny uncles.

He loves all of his aunts and uncles and we tell him about them everyday. Now that he is interested, we will be showing him their pictures, too. So if I haven't taken your picture yet watch out! Next time we see you there will be a photo shoot going down.

Happy President's Day!

Yes, we know that we are disturbed but we just can't help it. Most kids are embarrassed by their parents in their early teen years. Poor Gus has to put up with this already. We'll try to tame it down in the years to come.

..I can sit up by myself!?

This is Gus' new chair and this was his expression the first time I sat him in it, then took a step back. He was like..."mom, wait a sec...I..uh, I..I'm sitting in your chair by myself! Am I really?"

He has loved it since then.

Gus loves to talk but the moment he notices the video camera, he stops. That explains the crazy angle of this clip.

He hates getting dressed after his bath and prefers hanging out in his towel.

John Deere

Gus received this John Deere outfit from our friends Mike & Michelle and we love it! It came with a hat, too, but I think it's too tight because he was making crazy faces when I placed it on his head. It was only on for one pic.

This hip outfit reminds us of those little pedal John Deere tractors...do they still make those? I think my brother, Josh, once won the John Deere pedal tractor drag race in Carpio if I remember correctly. There most definitely is someone else in this family who has won the same title, especially if the competition was infact held in Carpio. Anyone?

First Superbowl

Gus seems to like TV but we only let him watch like 2 minutes per day. We don't want him to form bad habits so early in life. This was him watching Tom Brady go down.



He thought we were kidding when we told him the Giants had won.
