Feel the burn

We recently let our membership to the local neighborhood gym lapse, so what better time to join the newest, most family-friendly gym facility in Fargo?  There wasn't!  We're now members of Family Wellness in West Fargo.  It's great.   We love it, the kids love it.

Now let's get in shape!

Our favorite August visitors

For the past 3 August's, we've had the pleasure of hosting my sister, Stephanie, and her family back here in ND for a mini-vacation. It's always been fun, but it's getting better each year the older the kiddos get.

Every night we let the kids stay up late and eat (almost) whatever they wanted.

They were terribly spoiled by their grandparents all weekend.  As you can see, the girls were not having any fun with their grandma.

 She painted their faces. Awesome.

 And Nora loves her auntie Stephanie (who wouldn't).

 Speaking of loving aunts, here's another one - Christy, too.  2 awesome aunts in one place!

And all you can say about this is - it's Josh.  

Let's hear it for family reunions!  May we have many many more.

Happy 2nd Birthday, Nora

Nora ushered in the big 0-2 with a wonderful birthday weekend.  My whole side of the family was in town. Even Hava, and Auntie Stephanie from Boston were here to help celebrate.

Here's Gus with his cousin, Hava.  They were excited for the party.

 played the hanging doughnut game,

 and got ready for cake.

 There was also some outdoor art involved.

 

 She's the kookiest 2 year old we know.  What a hoot you are, Nora!  Happy Birthday.

1st Official Cousin's Overnight

Our nephew Will played with us all day last week, then stayed the night to make it our first official sleepover.  He did great, not even one tear shed. 

We wore them out by going for a bike ride to the park.   When we got home, they stretched.

 After the park, we showered up, then had popcorn for a snack while watching the Olympics.

 The next day, they were all smiles just moments after rolling out of bed.

 

We're ready for the next slumber party already.  We love you, Will-man!  Oh, but next time, we need Hava here to make it a perfect 10 on the cousin scale.
