I took a quick weekend trip to Boston to hang out with Steph, Mike, and our precious nieces, Hava and baby Soli. I can't believe Soli is already 5 months old!
I was lucky to be there for a special event that took place that weekend - Soli's naming. It was Friday evening at their synagogue, so I flew in just in time to witness this special ceremony! It was so neat. I had never been to one before so it was extra special and fun. She smiled at everyone while the rabbi spoke, and of course everyone gushed at how cute she was (obviously).
On Saturday we spent time outside, took a few snoozers (mostly Soli), and caught up with some of Steph's pals for a BBQ.
Everytime I'm there I wish we lived closer. But for now, these quick weekend trips do the trick!
Here's a few shots of Hava and Soli.
Hava is quite the chef! For real. She's a better cook than I am and she's 4.
This is portrait of me, by Hava.
Soli fell asleep in my arms at the park while Hava played just a few hours before I had to leave. It was perfect ending to a lovely weekend.
