Father's Day Camping

We spent Father's Day weekend camping with my family at Turtle River State Park. Ross and I tented it, and Gus chose to not rough it and stay in the camper with his Grandma and Grandpa. We had beautiful weather and waaay too much camping food. It was a perfect way to celebrate Father's Day. The only thing missing was Steph, Mike, and Hava.

Gus and Uncle Josh reclining.

We forgot his highchair seat so we opted for a frying pan booster chair.

This shot was taken early morning on Father's Day. Gus grabbed his milk, and headed out of the camper to track down his dad. His pajamas were filthy after he was done running around.

Handing his Father's Day card to his dad. His orange bracelets were part of his gift to his Grandpa Steve (not jewelry).

After all the cards and gifts were open, Gus headed for the water. The photo below should be used as our entry into a Parents-of-the-Year contest. Note Gus' position in comparison to warning label on the bucket. Ooops. But we were watching him the whole time.

Time to clean up!

Gus had no problem relaxing while camping.

Or playing, he was all over this playground equipment.

Ross reliving his childhood days and digging a hole to China.

Our family pic without the east sides: we miss Steph, Mike and baby Hava like crazy!

Folks,
That was a fun time and now Gus has officially been on a camping trip. He did find a lot of stuff to explore. I'm sure he will have a lot of fun at the next water hydrant he finds.
