Basketball, family-style

If there's one person who has watched a few basketball games in her life, it's Ross's grandmother, Betty.  We once counted up the consecutive years that she's been attending games and between her kids and grandkids, it's been something like 40+ years, without missing a season.

This would be the first year that she had no grandchildren playing ball.  Sooo why not get the guys together for a reunion tour, you ask?  Well, that's exactly what happened.  The cousins who could make it, did, and they put together a team for the ND Grand Am tourney in Grand Forks. 

The team name was BP Ballers (Betty Peterson is the namesake).

It was an awesome family event!

Here's the last shot of the day, after a looong day (3 games).  Kyle, Lucas, Betty, Alex, and Ross.  Grant played the day before but couldn't make it for the team shot.   That's OK - there's always next year!  As long as Ross and Kyle recover by then.
