Gus' homeland

We took a weekend trip back to Gus' original homeland, MN. He loved spending time with Gabby and many of our fellow MN friends. We did, too.

Gus and Gabby jumped on the bed, then crashed.

This was their morning routine: cartoons in bed while the rest of us got ready for the day.

Our outdoor plans were canceled due to cold and rain, so we went to the mall. Gabby had fun despite the look of terror on her face in this shot.

Gus loved this roller coaster simulator ride.

But his favorite was the dance, dance game.

He was dangerously quiet one afternoon, so I went to check on him in Gab's playroom. I was pleasantly surprised to see him tending to one of Gabby's babies. Correction, I was shocked to see him tending to this baby. Maybe it's sinking in that he gets one of these babies in a couple months.

This is just cute.

Park time!
Gus pretended to be spider-man while climbing the rope ladder.

Gabby has no fear and marched all over that playground.

And hung (and fell) from the rings like it was nothing.

Here's the kid's table at our MN picnic. Clockwise: Gabby, Gus, Carson, and Ashton.

On our way back to ND, we stopped to visit our friends Carin and Alex in their new home. Gus posed with their 2 sweet kids, Anders and Carter.

Another great weekend. Thank you for hosting, Goins!
