Safety first in this type of weather (& uncle Josh)

Below is a nice shot of what we woke up to this morning. The wind was whipping 2 million miles per hour, plus some snow. The good news is that it all melted away by about 5pm.

Upon hearing the news of snow, Gus reacted very positively.

Now that the roads will be slick and that Gus's feet hang over the edge of his current car seat, we figured it was time to upgrade to a deluxe, big-kid car seat.

He likes it now but the true test will be tomorrow morning when we pile into the car. Will he still think this thing is super cool?

New pasttime: applauding for himself when he accomplishes a major task or when he likes something.

Josh and Christy came over for a delicious turkey dinner. Ross slaved away in the kitchen this afternoon and it was worth it, he did early Thanksgiving dinner right!. Christy brought dessert, everything was scrumptious.

Gus has begun to request book readings. He picks up a book and bring it to whomever looks like they have a free moment. We love it.

Josh and Christy, being the fun couple they are invented a blanket game tonight that Gus was digging, big time. I took some video but haven't uploaded it yet. Soon.....
