Baptism

Gus was baptized Sunday, January 20th at Mount Olivet Church in Victoria, MN. Victoria is about 5 minutes away from our house in Chaska.

He LOVED being baptized and would do it again if he could. He was all smiles the whole time!

Thank you to everyone who was there. We are so thankful to have such wonderful family and friends who support everything we do. You folks are truly dedicated - it was 13 below and that didn't scare any of you away. Thank you.

No tears from this kid. He was hoping he could hop in after he got his hair washed (just like at home).

Grandma Vickie made his handsome tux. It fit just perfectly on Sunday but probably wouldn't fit him now. He is a growing baby.

His godparents, Uncle Chad and Aunt Stephanie. Steph just got back from a 3 week trip to India on Tuesday the 15th so we were surprised and delighted that she could be here! The last time she had seen Gus was the day he was born.

Cousin Lindsey (who was busy writing a report the whole time for a school project. She took 3 pages worth of notes on just the baptism itself!)

Again - thank you to everyone who came all this way for Gus' baptism! It was a very fun weekend.

Good Work on the baptism Mr. Gus and mom & dad. Thanks for the wallets of Gus. We got them on Tuesday night when we arrived back in Minot. They were a very nice welcome back to VERY cold Minot! We have some pictures of Gus in Jamaica that I will be emailing to you in a few days. (He seemed to enjoy it there)
I LOVE the look on Ross' face in the photo where the pastor is putting the water on Gus' head. He looks so incredibly proud and in love.
Miss you-
Jessie
