Friends In A Tent
Based loosely on the movie Snakes On A Plane, we present Friends In A Tent.
It's not as scary but pretty much as messy. Gus is really into making tents. Everyday. Sometimes 2 or 3 times a day. And they include all our dining room and living room furniture. Maybe he will be an avid outdoorsman or camper someday.

We might need a bigger car
While Ross was taking time off work, we made a roadtrip to Minot to visit family and friends. We fit, but it was a snug ride in the Subaru, especially when I squeezed in the middle of the 2 kids in the backseat for the last 45 mins of the trip, both ways.
It was totally worth it. We had a great time in Minot as usual.
Now, what's this they say about the older child becoming desperate for attention, and wanting to be the center of attention once the baby arrives?
Laura and Lindsey would make great babysitters....if we lived in Berthold!
Nora cuddling with Gma Vickie.
Gus played his heart out each day, at both Grandma and Grandpas' houses.
While Nora slept her cares away and cuddled up to all her Gma and Gpa's.
Future Hornbacher's or Super Target employee? Perhaps.
He finally crashed around 7:30pm, right in the middle of playing phone with Gpa Dave.
They both did.
When we arrived home, we had a chance to catch up with Josh, Christy, and Will. Here's Will and Gus in one of many cousin pictures I'm sure I will snap over the years.
Will and Uncle Ross.
I didn't get photos of everything and everyone we saw while in Minot, but Thank You to everyone who hosted us and took time out of their schedules to allow us a visit!

Twice the kids, twice the fun
After we doubled our kids, we've noticed we have twice the fun, twice the visitors (family, friends, neighbors), and spend twice the time getting ready for bed.
Gus showing Nora how to really play with this baby jungle gym.
Nora and Will shared a gaze during their first cousin stare-down.
It was so wonderful to have my sister, Aunt Steph, in town for 3 days. She didn't bring sweet Hava, and we missed her, but still had a blast and appreciated everything she did with Gus, Nora, and around the house.
Nora was blissed out during her olive oil foot massage session.
Josh and Steph yucking it up with Will.
Gus had his turn with his Aunt Steph, too.
Gus and his Gpa Steve held their usual tower building contest when he arrived.
Baseball.
Here's Great-Grandma Ethel meeting and holding baby Nora for the first time. We love the name Nora, in general, but it also has special meaning in our family. Nora was my Great-Grandmother's name - who was Grandma Ethel's mother. We also learned that our Nora shares a birthday with her Great-Great-Grandfather, Ted, who was Nora's husband. Neat!
