We visited the Fargo Park District's Children's Museum this week. Gus' head was spinning as he tried to see and do everything at once. By the time we got in the car to head home, he actually admitted (without being prompted) that he was tired. He said, "Mom, I'm tired." I said, "Gus do you need a nap?". His reply, as his eyelids slowly drooped open and shut, was just, "need a nap".
But before the tiredness set in, he was in heaven!
He's a little young to nail the US geography, but he tried.
"And this was how your Grandpas got milk for their cereal everyday when they were boys, Gus." That's what I told him.
The mini shopping cart and produce stand was definitely his favorite exhibit.
Even though these kids didn't talk or move, Gus liked playing with them.
We had a great time. We really like places this especially in the middle of a long winter.

Thanksgiving in February
Last week our friends, the Skunbergs, hosted a delicious dinner party. The theme? Thanksgiving in February. Kristie is the most creative person we've ever met, so this wasn't your average dinner party. There were homemade pilgrim napkin holders at everyone's setting. Gus was obsessed with our little heads.
And the food was wonderful, too. For it, and for all the hilarious decor and costumes from that night, we give thanks. Thank you!

That's hot
Despite the chilly temps being forecasted, Gus was feeling hot inside in his boots and diapie.
Then he wanted to take a picture of me, so we did a couple self portrait silly faces, together.
I think this is my favorite photo of him.
And we had to look at every picture on the back of the camera immediately after I took them. He laughed when he saw this one. He should have, this is hilarious!

Feel the love
Happy belated Valentine's Day! Gus felt the love all weekend because his Gma Vickie and Gpa Dave were here and they played, played, played for 3 days straight.
His singing Tweety Bird Valentine was a hit.
Thanks, Grandma! And Grandpa, too.
What's Valentine's Day without chocolate treats?
On Sunday, Gus had a mini play date with Jacob and Taylor, my co-workers kids. They had fun despite the goofy faces in this pic.
By Sunday evening, Gus' performance skills were in prime fashion. He had been putting on a show for the family for 3 days and for his final performance, he added the crazy hair element.
He's going to wonder where the Grandparents are this weekend when nobody shows up on Friday. He's been spoiled lately!
